This gorgeous Tissus Indiennes was found in the Flea Market in Paris and evokes the deep love of Indian Chintz that has fascinated the French for centuries. The cheerful printed cotton in vibrant blue, green, red, pink and yellow is filled with exotic flowers and foliage, reminiscent of the wildly popular Perse designs from the 18th century, and perfect for embroidered embellishment. At the last Vintage Floral Fancies sale, the Tissus Indiennes kits sold out in 24 hours! Luckily, I had the good fortune to purchase remaining fabric at the Flea Market, so if you missed out last year, it’s back again for you this year!
