Stitches and Stanzas

In this relaxing beginners course we will enjoy the pleasure of embroidering poetry and prose. Your favourite lines will emerge on fabric, letter by letter and stitch by stitch, embedding them in your memory as the words are lovingly recreated with thread.

Rebecca will show you how to choose your fabric and thread, transfer your text by hand or using the magic of Solufix and then how to use the back stitch to embroider your poem or prose. Each week we will progress a little further, giving encouragement and inspiration to each other, until our stanzas are fully stitched into beautiful poems and prose.

Stitches & Stanzas is ideal for both beginners and seasoned embroiderers looking for inspiration. The course will be hosted on Zoom from 5pm to 6pm Paris time. The classes will be recorded and available to watch for the duration of the course.
