We want your week in the South of France to feel wonderfully inspiring and effortless. Our home for seven nights is Arles, in Provence, a region of southern France known for its colourful markets and long tradition of printed textiles. Together, we will follow those threads through fashion, traditional needlework and the people who keep these crafts alive.
From the markets of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue to textile houses, museums and tucked-away workshops, our days together will offer time to explore, ask questions and find a few treasures to take home.

Your Retreat Includes
Seven nights’ accommodation at Grand Hôtel Nord-Pinus in Arles, with breakfast each morning.
Welcome and farewell dinners to begin and end our Provençal adventure together.
Six days of specially curated textile, fashion and craft experiences with Rebecca Devaney.
All admission fees and organised visits included in the published retreat programme.
Textile-focused walks in Arles with Rebecca, along with visits to Musée Arlaten and the Musée de la Mode et du Costume.
A day in Marseille, including a textile-focused visit to Maison Empereur, MUCEM and time to explore Le Panier.
A visit to the celebrated flea market at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and to La Filaventure, home to the story of Brun de Vian-Tiran textiles.
Discoveries around Tarascon, including the Musée Souleiado and the world of Provençal printed fabrics at Olivades.
A day exploring the textile heritage of Nîmes and its surroundings, including regional collections and specialist makers.
Organised coach transport for the scheduled day trips from Arles.
Dedicated hosting and support throughout the retreat from Rebecca and your Creative Travel Services tour leader.
The Following are Not Included
To make planning as straightforward as possible, the following are not included:
Travel to and from Arles, France. We recommend flying into and out of Marseille.
Airport or railway station transfers. Creative Travel Services can help arrange these separately on request; the cost is not included in the retreat price.
Lunches.
Evening meals other than the included welcome and farewell dinners.
Drinks unless specifically stated.
Personal purchases, including fabrics, haberdashery, antiques and other finds from the South of France.
Activities, admission fees or transport undertaken independently during free time.
Additional hotel nights before or after the retreat.
Travel insurance and personal expenses.

Based in beautiful Arles, we weave together museums, historic towns, textile collections, antique markets, traditional crafts, specialist shops and encounters with passionate people who continue to keep these traditions alive. This is a journey into the textile soul of the South of France—a celebration of cloth, colour, pattern and craft, and of the remarkable stories woven through them.
